Healing Your Self through Love

Phase 1: Excavation

Before any healing can happen, we first need to know: what hurts? Through gentle, compassionate curiosity and investigation, we’ll learn about the wounds that have been covered up by the busy-ness, numbing, and other distractions that keep you disconnected from wholehearted living.

 These wounds often show up as stories that we learned long ago and have continued to tell ourselves. It’s important to honor the place that these stories have in our lives and the ways they’ve tried to protect us, even as we intend to retire them.

 
 

Phase 2: Compassion

Compassion is the true witnessing of one’s experience and desire to alleviate their suffering. When we see the wounds that ask for healing, we offer deep compassion. You’ll learn how to open to, express, and receive compassion and care for your wounded parts, as well as the parts of you that are learning, growing, and stretching into new emotional territory.

 

We’ll be calling upon compassion to tell the true, authentic stories about your pain and suffering. I’ll be right by your side, joining with you, guiding you, and lifting you up as you learn to lead your own way.

 
 
 
 

Phase 3: Becoming Love

Now we open to love. We’ll explore what love means to you, how it has appeared in your life, and how your deepest heart has wished for it to appear. We’ll ask: What messages of love do your heart wounds most need? How can we cultivate the strong, nurturing parts of you that will offer that tender love to your most precious self?

I’ll guide you in uncovering those answers from where they already live within you, then join with you in sending pure, powerful love to your heart wounds. 

You'll learn how to understand all of the components of self love: respect, care, awareness, discipline, and more. In this way, loving yourself is a powerfully comprehensive way of truly showing up for you and holding you safely, securely, and confidently.

You’ll start to feel an opening and relaxing into a firm, unwavering foundation that holds you, encourages you, and uplifts you. This is wholeness. This is completion. This is healing.
 

 
 
 

Closing

At the end of the 10 weeks, you will have begun to repair the ruptured relationship between you and your wounded self. You will have experienced true healing, which you will feel in your heart, body, and intuition.

Your journey continues as you embark on the next levels of healing with confidence, courage, and strength. You’ll know how to give focused, gentle attention to your most tender parts so that they come into harmony with the rest of you, and you’ll know how to offer your self authentic love and unwavering compassion whenever you need it.
